Case study:

Proactive with 100% limited company debt forgiveness loan


Objective

The limited company client was a well-established connection of a long-standing broker partners (PCPA Partners). The client had a month to complete, to satisfy a Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) debt forgiveness concession. A 100% of purchase price was required.

Challenge

Time was against us. To grant a full purchase price loan we had to be thorough in our underwriting and demanding of our valuers. For Amicus, 100% loans against purchase are exceptional.

Outcome

We took the decision to instruct valuers before the application was received after initial conversations with the broker and client. We felt able to do so because PCPA have a reputation for doing a great deal of due diligence ahead of submitting; this case was no exception. The client, broker and of course RBS were delighted.
